Sangsang, Batak Typical Food

Sangsang is one of the typical food of the Batak. Most of the Batak people like this,because the sense of distinctive cuisine and makes everyone want to always taste it.

Food is named "Sangsang" because the food is made from pork meat that is cut into small pieces. Then cooked with spice mixture Batak cuisine that has its own flavor. Andgiven a mixture of "Gota" or porcine blood. That Sangsang material that makes a deliciousand distinctive flavor.
Spices used are garlic, onion, galangal, chili, ginger, andaliman. And "Gota" when mixed with spices and the meat is almost cooked. Due to the progress of time, then manysangsang that are not mixed with another gota, because there are several streamsthat are not allowed to consume blood. However, some people argue that, if sangsang not mixed with the gota, does not have a distinctive flavor dishes. In its presentation, for one ordinary share is also given garlic and cayenne pepper to create a more seductivespicy flavor.
